Robert Schumacher, President
Robert Schumacher is the founder and President of R. Schumacher & Associates, Inc. and has more than 30 years of distinguished leadership and innovative management experience in the public sector environment. Bob has served in leadership roles in many levels of government and has an impressive depth of experience managing a broad range of services, functions, operations and professional staff.  Bob earned his MBA at Saint Mary’s College of California, has a B.A. in Political Science from California State University East Bay is a graduate of the Technical Managers Program at the University of California Los Angeles, and a former CPM.

Brandon Cody, Director of Business Development
Brandon Cody has significant experience in public policy development, analysis, strategy, and finance.  He has a Master's in Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus.  Brandon has a track record of high performance and has created significant positive impacts for his clients throughout his career. In the past four years alone his efforts resulted in the attainment of $6 Million in revenue for his clients.  In 2011, he was recognized by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for his excellent skill set in policy and financial analysis. Brandon is passionate about public service and deeply involved in the community and raising his young family.

Harry Bruno, Esq. Senior Associate, Risk and Compliance Management
Harry R. Bruno, Jr., is a California admitted attorney since 1975 who holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law.  He worked for the City of Hayward, California for almost 30 years until his retirement as the City’s first and only designated Risk Manager.  Harry has written risk management articles which appeared in national publications, and he has received both the Technology Achievement Award and the Technology Achievement Special Mention Award from Public Technology, Inc. (PTI) for innovative projects.  He also was honored to serve three years as the President of the Public Agency Risk Managers Association (PARMA).

Russ Miller, Senior Associate, Organizational Improvement, Strategy
Russell Miller is a Senior Associate with the firm having 36 years’ experience as a Senior Executive Service manager with the U. S Secret Service. During this time he supervised Presidential Protection, technology development, and criminal investigations. Mr. Miller has additional executive management experience servings as Director of Corporate Security for an international manufacturing firm, and as Director of Security at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL).  In each of the three organizations his focus was on providing operational excellence, quality improvement, cost effective operations, and complying with federal, state, and local laws and statutes. As Director of Corporate Security he oversaw security operations for a large international corporation consisting of uniformed officer protection of individuals and physical security of plant operations. As Director of Security for LLNL, he was responsible for the broad range of security requirements for nuclear plant protection to include managing a highly trained uniformed protective force. His career in three varied security fields required interaction with multiple police and sheriff offices, where shared operations and investigations were crucial to success.

Linda Schumacher, Organizational Improvement, Operational Improvement
Linda Schumacher is a former Chief Operating Officer with a record of distinguished leadership and management experience in Hospital Operations. Linda has more than 25 years of experience in senior leadership positions in four very diverse healthcare systems. She has developed and implemented financial, administrative and operational improvements, earning a reputation for exceeding organizational goals and improving financial performance. Linda understands how to work successfully with healthcare professionals and embodies a genuine commitment to improving the quality of care. Linda has an impressive range of experience across the spectrum of health care including Customer Service Leadership, Operations Management, Financial Operations, Performance Improvement, Construction Project Management, and Regulatory Compliance (The Joint Commission, California Department of Health, College of American Pathology). Linda earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology. From the University of Akron, and a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University.
